I’m a bit late posting this as the trip was back at the start on April (I’ve back-dated the post accordingly), but better late than never eh?
Extensive quantities of rain and some local flooding meant that despite plans to the contrary I didn’t managed to get out anywhere over the winter. However, spring brought better weather so for the first time this year I was off out to visit Wildlife Trusts Titchmarsh – one of our local nature reserves.
A nice sunny day, there were kites and buzzards in the sky and quite a lot of greylag and Canada geese around the reserve, along with the pretty blossom brightening up the hedgerows. It was also great to see the lambs of the resident sheep, a sure sign that spring had arrived.
